About
I have been playing golf for over twenty years now and through that time I have discovered much about the game and myself. Although I still take the game very seriously, I have learned to enjoy it much more as I have gotten older. Golf has truly been the one constant passion in my life since the day my friends and I snuck onto the Orinda Country Club in high school and played five holes before the marshal chased us off the course.
Some of my golf highlights include:
- Two hole in ones – didn’t see either as they were to elevated greens. Even looked for the first one for about 5 minutes before looking in the hole.
- Going through qualifying for the US Amateur, Mid-Am and Us Open. I played with Nick Watney during my qualifying round for the US Amateur - could tell then he was going to be a star.
- I have played golf in multiple countries, but my trip to Ireland is still my favorite golf trip.
- I worked in the golf industry for over a year, but decided the free golf wasn’t worth the pay cut.
